2nd Annual Trick17 Stop Motion Film Competition

15 teams compete over 3 days to write, shoot and edit a 1 to 3-minute Stop Motion Film. Participating teams were provided with an inspiration package including categories such as STIKAFS, CLAYMATION, OFFICE SUPLIES or HUMAN and themes such as MUSIC VIDEO, MOVIE TRAILER and FANTASY, animators and filmmakers were challenged to work with familiar and unfamiliar mediums, under the pressure of a 52 hour time restriction.A panel of industry professionals, got together and deliberate the winners of the 2008 Trick 17 Stop Motion Film Competition.All films were screened on Saturday November 22nd at the Granville 7 cinemas in front of an extatic crowd. The show was sold out and Trick17 Stop Motin Film Competition is expected to be back in fall 2009.
